A few words about us

Alpha-Rowen Treatments have been trading since 1987 and now specialise in the provision of a high quality austemper treatment to the spring and presswork industries.

Our customers supply austempered components to many industries including:

  • Automotive and aerospace
  • Electrical and electronic
  • Construction, DIY and Ironmongery
  • White goods and stationary
  • Telecommunications

We are a key link in our customers supply chain, working to ensure a timely, high quality service that will enhance our customer’s product.

At Alpha-Rowen Treatments, we recognise that to satisfy our customers’ needs we must pursue the objective of "never ending improvement" in all aspects of our business. To assist us in this philosophy we have a quality assurance management system certificated to ISO 9001:2000. We are now actively pursuing the automotive standard TS 16949.

We also recognise that we need the full co-operation and support of all our employees to continually meet our objective. We ensure all our personnel are fully aware of the company’s objectives and we re-enforce this through on-going training and educational programmes throughout the company.

More about us

  • Based over 2 sites, we currently employ 31 people whose average service with Alpha-Rowen is over 10 years.
  • Normal operation is 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday. This is tailored to provide maximum capacity through the normal working week.
  • We have a range of 10 furnaces to cater for your requirements from one-offs through small batches up to multi-tonne orders.
  • Austempering provides a tough structure but with a minimum of distortion.
  • We can also offer oil hardening, case hardening, stress relieving and vibratory deburring.
  • We recognise that delivery is normally critical and strive for a fast flexible turnaround.
